At the outset of our project we evaluated at least 10 web development companies, across multiple countries, the first most noticeable thing was that costs varied significantly between the companies as did the approach of how they viewed our web project. Many of the companies seemed to view the project as largely just another HTML site offering little actual development advice and really not adding any true value to our existing ideas and wish lists.
From day 1 - Spiderz presented a highly professional proposal; it was clear to us from our first meeting that they were not simply responding to, but building on our ideas and wish lists for the project. Commercially they were not the lowest cost but they were far from the highest. Prior to awarding the project we also took the action of speaking with some of the customer references that Spiderz provided to us, in each case the sites that we reviewed and the people that we spoke with were highly complimentary of Spiderz service and company. That was it - we decided to award to Spiderz – a decision that today, after the launch of our site, we would make again, without question.
During the implementation of the project Spiderz were timely, helpful, and innovative but most of all flexible – after all web sites are a development feat that largely changes as you progress. Spiderz were very quick to adapt as our ideas and expectations grew – they found solutions to our challenges and never said NO, offering advice and guidance all the way. We were particularly impressed with the high level of understanding that Spiderz gained of our company, our solutions and our support functions all of which were to be integrated into our site. Spiderz understanding of these areas were vital to ensuring that our site was used by our customers to best effect.
We highly recommend Spiderz and will be using them again shortly for further Austin Hughes development projects.
