Your site needs your full business address!

This might sound silly in 2025, but I’ve seen so many bad websites out there lately, it’s almost painful to witness the utter neglect.

So you’re running a business, pay up all those licenses, set up offices, hire staff, buy inventory and do all the heavy lifting building those sales, but you can’t get something as basic as your business address, published—say what?—on your website.

Here’s the thing, I feel most business owners hate their websites, simply because their experience of getting one up, all the technical hassle and the cold treatment from those pesky freelancers leaves nothing behind but memories of that ordeal. It leaves one wondering if this was just their website, or some cousin they just can’t stand anymore.

Fine, this is it. If you’re running a business, get your business address printed—right? You’re paying for that prestigious address anyway, setting up shop here in Dubai, and yet, your website’s missing this crucial information! How can that be? But it is, there are tens of thousands of websites that just don’t list a physical address for the business, or take the time out to have it updated (if it is published), yeah, after moving to new premises.

It’s complete negligence and it hurts too, because if no one is watching your website, Google is. The less popular search engines are too. And besides, all the AI bots now keep track of website information, so you’re simply feeding bad or outdated data to them. This costs SEO rankings, incorrect information given to customers by these platforms when someone’s trying to reach you, or when they simply want to see whether you’re legit or not, it’s that simple.

Now, there are companies for whom a physical address just doesn’t matter, and that’s fine, or you may be located in a place like a free zone or commercial tower, where someone can’t just walk in right away, they’d need an entry permit or set up an appointment beforehand. In those circumstances you may omit printing an address, but I don’t recommend it, because a full business address builds trust and shows you’re a legally registered business—unlike someone who’s, well, freelancing, for lack of a better word.

If you’re worried someone will just walk in, let them, it doesn’t matter. If you’re shy and wonder that your address is not in a prestige location, don’t, it doesn’t matter. If you’re thinking you’re in a neighbouring Emirate, not Dubai—well, you get it, it doesn’t matter. There’s no point in thinking too much about things that are plain and simple. You run a business, and you have a registered business address. So whatever it is, just go out and print it on your website. You never know, you’ll get a qualified lead because of it someday, trust me.

And here’s how we do it at Spiderz—oh, and yes, that’s Area Q1, not Area 51, just so you know!
