Founded in Dubai in 2002, Spiderz is an enterprising, family-run web and software services company. We work with businesses across the UAE to design, build, and support a wide range of applications and systems in AI, cloud, e-commerce, and web technologies, along with digital media and branding.
Having relocated to Sharjah in 2011, the company has operated under a license issued by the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone), license number 09369, as a 100% privately held free zone company.

Inspired by the concept of spiders spinning webs in real life, the Spiderz brand reflects a focus on web design, development, and hosting services that support day-to-day business operations. Spiderz works across systems design, web development, data integration, and content management. Years of experience in web architecture, site layout analysis, graphic design, and user interface design have led to the development of reliable web applications.

Timeline
Since 2002, Spiderz has evolved alongside the web, growing through change and opportunity. The timeline below outlines the milestones that have shaped our company.
- The first web design studio established in Dubai in June 2002.
- Set up as a partnership at the Department of Economic Development Dubai on June 4, 2002.
- First office established at the prestigious Emirates Towers at ServCorp.
- Quickly gains a healthy list of clients, some of the top names in Dubai at the time.
- Key expertise revolves around web design and development for businesses.
- Key systems developed during this time include the RealtyPro web portal for real estate websites.
- Over a hundred clients by 2007, when the economic recession hits.
- The partnership is dissolved in 2008 and we set up a local service agent agreement instead.
- The economy begins to recover, especially after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid inaugurates Burj Dubai (now Burj Khalifa) in early 2010.
- Spiderz moves to 100% ownership in 2011 at the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone).
- We celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2012. It is 10 challenging years.
- Spiderz now has a distributed team of developers, and everyone works remotely.
- 2014 sees a flurry of business activity and the economy is booming; web projects are plentiful.
- 2015 sees one of our side e-commerce projects soar to success on JadoPado (later Noon).
- Spiderz hosting services launch in early 2016 and are quite a hit. We nail it.
- After serious failures with local cloud providers, 2018 sees us set up our hosting network on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- An automated support ticketing system is implemented in 2018. This is a leap forward in customer support.
- Web development projects are few and far between by 2019. App culture soars.
- We hit a brick wall in 2019. One of the leading banks in Dubai chooses to close our bank account after 17 years of smooth operation.
- 2020 is the year when everything changes. Working from home adds a new perspective. At Spiderz, it is business as usual.
- By 2021, the web regains its importance; e-commerce adds new avenues for growth.
- Automated provisioning, client account management, and billing services are introduced by early 2021.
- In early 2023, we hop on the generative AI bandwagon with ChatGPT Plus. Its impact is profound, especially for development.
- The Spiderz core team swells in 2024; the next generation takes hold of things. We suddenly have more hands and more time.
- Credit and debit card payments are available by mid-August 2025. We see payments coming in faster than usual.
- Spiderz launches the retail website Robotz as a pilot project to e-tail toys, gadgets, and gizmos by the end of 2025.

Pricing for packaged services is standard, affordable, and revised once a year, while custom services are billed between AED 300 and AED 900 per hour*, depending on the scope of work. As the final price depends on several factors, the best option is to request a quote.
