I took a backup from cPanel and can’t find it. Where do I look?

If you’ve created a backup using cPanel and can’t find it, the default location is typically your home directory. Check in the /home/username folder, where ‘username’ is your cPanel account name. If it’s not there, check the path you selected when creating the backup.

Good to Know: After creating backups, it’s a best practice to move them to a secure location off your hosting account. This ensures your backups are not only safe but also don’t consume valuable space on your hosting server.
