Is my email secured using Let’s Encrypt SSL?

By Spiderz • October 13, 2023

Yes, if your email service is set up through the same server and domain, the Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate will also cover the security for mail.yourdomain.com, ensuring encrypted email communication.

Good to Know: When setting up email programs like MS Outlook or Thunderbird, use IMAP port 993 with SSL or POP3 port 995 with SSL for incoming. For outgoing, use SMTP port 465 with SSL.
